How to Change Your Business Name on Facebook
We recently received this question from one of the attendees of our 7 March webinar on how to make Facebook work for your business. The attendee asked if it is possible to change the name of their business without having to delete the page and create a new one.
There are two things you can change: your Page name and your user name, also known as your custom URL. Let’s first take a look at where these elements are.
Your business page name is found here:

The user name or custom url is what you see here:

If you want to change the name of your page you can do this, but only if you have less than 100 Likes. The steps are listed below. If you have already requested from Facebook a user name (name that appears as your web address), you cannot change it. If you haven’t yet requested a user name/custom URL, you can do so if you have at least 25 Likes.
If you want to change your Page name, you can do the following:
1) Go to your page, click “Admin Panel”
2) Select the Manage drop down > Click “Edit Page”
3) Select “Basic Information”
4) Once you are on the Basic Information page, you will see the Name of your page. If you have less than 100 Likes, you will be able to change the Page name as below:
However, if your page has more than 100 Likes, you will not be able to change the name.
